IPTV UK respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We take copyright infringement seriously: if you believe content available through our IPTV service infringes your copyright, tell us and we will investigate and take appropriate action.
Our copyright protection policy
We respond promptly to every valid notice of alleged copyright violation. Each complaint is reviewed and handled in accordance with British and international copyright law.
How to file a DMCA notice
For your takedown notice to be valid, it must include all of the following:
- Your full legal name and contact details: email address, telephone number and postal address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- A precise description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on our UK IPTV service, for example the channel name, the title of the programme or film, and the date and time you saw it.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Notices that are missing any of this information may be delayed while we ask you for it.
Where to send your notice
Send your copyright infringement complaint to our designated DMCA agent:
Put “DMCA Notice” in the subject line so your message is handled as a priority. Notices can be written in English or French.
Our response time
We process every DMCA request within 24 hours of receiving it. Valid complaints are investigated promptly, and appropriate action is taken in accordance with British and international copyright law. We reply to you by email once your notice has been handled.
Counter-notification
If you believe content was removed in error, you can send a counter-notification to the same address, contact@ukiptv8k.co.uk, with “DMCA Counter-Notice” in the subject line. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the British courts.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
False claims
Under section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be held liable. If you are not sure whether content infringes your rights, we recommend consulting a lawyer before filing a notice.
